Calm distribution keeps the midfield ticking as Fuka Nagano extends
On 1 August 2025, Liverpool FC Women announced that midfielder Fuka Nagano has signed a new deal. Her composure and passing help control the flow of matches and add depth to the team’s engine room.

Midfielder, from Kanagawa Prefecture. Career: Urawa Reds Ladies → Incheon Hyundai Steel Red Angels → Chifure AS Elfen Saitama → Mynavi Sendai Ladies → North Carolina Courage → Liverpool FC Women (2023–). First called up to Japan U-17 in 2014. Selected for U-17 again in 2016. Selected for U-20 in 2018. Senior debut in 2018.
